Operation Review

Lion TV are producing a new series for BBC2 called Britain from Above which will explore the history of Britain through aerial photography. We are keen to find RAF personnel who took part in Operation Review, which was a survey programme run from c 1945-1955 to create photo mapping of the entire UK. Units involved include 58 Sqdn, and 540-544 Sqdns. Still-hale aircrew or ground personnel. If you know anyone who was involved or have any suggestions as to where i could find them please do let me know.
Best,
Max

Have you tried Air Historical Branch? The Form 540 (Operations Record Book) from the sqns concerned should list the names of all crew who flew on the op, and you could then try to cross-check with the Veterans' Agency or the pension people to see who's still around.
