E-3's in east mids

I Live near East Mids airport, and every now and again I see an E-3 flying in to the airport. Just wondering why. Do they just shoot approaches or do they actually land?

Cheerso

it seems like they're mainly shooting approaches (i.e. not landing)

I don't own this space under my name. I should have leased it while I still could

Simple really, we don't own enough runways for 24 hour ops so we have to go civvy.

Come 5 o'clock there are only a handful of places that are open and none near Waddo.
