I know you young fellas will find this hard to believe, but in those pre-H&S days we didn't even have hi-viz vests to protect us...

..And that Cpl Hoskins is how you disarm it using just a screwdriver and a toothpick....now go and try it on one of those live ones over there.

And this one is called the "Brass Hat" bomb because if brains were explosives there isn't enough here to blow your nose.

How about we stick a fork into the bomb thread go to judging and get the (Wince, Shudder, Holding my nose) "winner" of the Jag photo CAPCOM to post a new pic ?

Given the time it took the bomb aimer to unscrew the bombs off the racks it was no wonder the average miss was 5 miles in 1940/41.
