And it was at this point that Airbus decided to scale back the weight saving initiative on the A350.

Not 10 seconds after exiting the hangar, Algernon came to the sudden realisation - to his great consternation - that the aircraft fitters had crossed the cables on his rudder pedals when carrying out the last 100-hourly.
He immediately had a brainwave and tried operating the rudder by crossing his legs - and promptly found to his great relief, that he'd be quite able to cope in this manner, with the major re-assembly fault.

Time to judge, I think!

In 3rd place, we have Dak Man with:

"Ok Flt Lt Smithers, read the bottom line and tell me if it's clearer with 1 or 2?"

In 2nd place it's airborne_artist:

"Just because one of us has a colander on his head and the other has a plant pot doesn't mean we aren't proper pilots."

But as I liked the "flower pot men" theme that I had initially missed but many latched onto, this week's winner is

Arm out the window (what a highly appropriate username for this photo) with:

"Blob a lob little weed ... er, sorry, I mean, cleared for takeoff."

Well done, Arm!

Try this one - I hope it hasn't been used before. Will change it if so. Have fun; judging when it looks like it's run it's course...

The Red's recent budget cut forcing the need to multi-role its aircraft led to an interesting choice in a subdued paint scheme.
