It wasn't until he sent in the 3rd draft, this time with a picture, that Flt Lt PPRuNe finally got Air Clues to accept his submission for "I learned about flying from that".

Thanks for that, Buster. Just what I needed on NY Eve. Think I might have to lie down in a dark room for a bit.

I think I want to throw up. I haven't felt this bad since my first encounter with Kokinelli. Buster, you are sick.

Now, how about a new caption cometition? The clock's ticking, Nut!

This crew has the potential to go far in the Puma force. Pilot always up someone's a**e. The crewman never did anything for himself and liked someone else's hand on his helmet.

Puma Pilot's buddy "Binky" is as real as the Pilot's chances at staying in the RAF flying Puma's.

-It's the latest MOD scheme to save money by getting ride of more of those pesky pilots. It's called a UHW (Universal Helmet Warmer).

-What's that little guy......... ? You think you are going to S*it in the CO's helmet.......... GO FOR IT !

With my wacky sense of humour, and a nice line in clothing from the RAF Collection, It's a certainty I'll be selected for pilot training.

The MOD had enlisted the help of Matthew Corbett to get the message across to the Puma aircrew in terms they might understand.

"Sooty says "Glass Cockpit, new engines? GET TO F***!!!" "

The captain realised the coeys were getting younger when he had to use Sooty to initiate the checks.

A photo records the only moment in aviation history that a 'sooty' was allowed in the cockpit.
