On a personal note this was due to in the late 50's as a 7-9 year old in Scotland I well remember Grandads car had a bench front seat with no seat belts and there was a road we used where if Grandad gunned it right the hump back switchback (think Nessie humps) would simulate weightlessness. As a child it was called the 'whee' road. Don't think it did the springs much good

Don't think that would have done my springs much good either and I probably would have gone wee too! Well these days I would...

Many thanks Kiltie - I'm out and about today so in order to get the weekend off to a proper start, would somebody like to assume the mantle please?

Designs are already in place for the re-nationalisation of the British car industry should Corbyn come to power. "At least it is better than the Allegro" a spokesman for the car-workers union claimed.

Not a caption as it's not original: "The new Vauxhall Brexit: looks like it's heading one way, but when it moves it goes in another and ultimately has no idea where it will end up."
