When Pilot Hosking was shown this picture of his aeroplane being assembled he suddenly remembered he had left the light on at home
or
At the Dagenham assembly plant it was later discovered the aircraft was completed the Friday before a Bank Holiday

If we get to the root of this problem now, then in a few decades, there'll be planes called the 787 and the 380 that don't have this kind of issue.

Hoskins, it's taken you so long to put the bloody thing together, the Squadron formed to fly it has been stood down and recently reformed with Typhoons at Coningsby...

The RAF Museum are no longer interested in exhibiting aircraft, Phillips, but they'll have your ladders and LAC Stimpson's overalls...
