Overheard at the meeting to approve a recruiting photograph: "So, we have a female and a non-white person as the first two in line...which one of the two remaining is gay"?

Ok guys, time to put you out of your misery and pass judgement on this one.

Some admirable captions on what appears to have been a tricky pic... Honourable mentions must go to Kiltrash #53848, Penny Washers #53860 and Dan Generous #53861. The Blue Peter post very close.

But Best in Show goes to treadigraph, not least for managing to work in a Private Pike reference;
"Capt Mainwaring and Sgt Wilson were very glad of their oxygen kit after Elizabeth's vegan sausage roll lunch supplied by Cpl Jones. Pvt Pike luckily had a cold and a blocked nose..."

KST passed down the line to your good self.

"Yes Hoskins, it will save fuel - however this saving may well be negated by the fact that we can only land from where we took off!!"

Hoskins, I think you've missed the difference between retractable undercarriage & replaceable ones.

Having perfected the skill of removing a clamp from his car, Gosling absentmindedly fell into that drill when he got back to his helicopter after a rather good dinner at the golf club.

Damn Hoskins.....your idea of putting Four Star into her really did increase our take off. power!

Note: This is not the factory recommended procedure for changing skids....but when it became necessary due to being in a remote location where no crane or jacks were available.....Bristow Engineers were able to convince a Pilot into giving it a try (enough Beer and they can be convinced of anything).

Of course....the prerequisite piloting skills required by the Company of all Pilots (in those days) made this alternative procedure possible.

I tried to find the story behind this at the Bristow Old Gits page but could not find it amongst the hundreds of pages of photos and stories.
