When the Boss said he wanted a thoroughbred Hunter to jump fences with, he actually meant a horse.

It has been brought to my attention that you have posted a picture of a British made jet hanging from a crane on PPrune. I would kindly ask you to remove it as I am worried that a MOD staffer may see it and decide that this would be a really cheap way for out pilots to log "airtime"

Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Think bubble over one of the guys holding the rope.

It brings a tear to my eye, after all these years I finally get to see one of our Air Force jets airborne.

I remember when the pilots landed the aircraft themselves.

Don't worry Achmed. We'll photo shop the wires & the crane out & it'll look just like a ridiculously low pass! Now...look surprised!

Good job, Abdul - our Ramadan tree decoration will make the infidel dogs' puny Christmas trees look like anthills alongside the Great Pyramid. Bwa ha ha!

Look here, Bloggs, I still think that a simple periscope would have been a quicker option to spy on the Nurses' Quarters.......

Achmed's latest design for a really cheap blastpen was gaining considerable support in the cost-cutting department at the MOD....
