The BBC Props department still hadn't got the hang of metric measurement yet and had got their metres and inches confused.

Flt Lt Smith wasn't too sure about his new GE. But at least he took up less space on the aircraft and the weight saving meant an extra tray of in-flight catering for the rest of the crew.

Yes, I know the chain looks cruel, but without it he'd run off and eat his goggles.

When asked where he had obtained this primitive & small-brained beast, the monkey replied, "well, it started out as a boil on my arse".

"Gentlemen, welcome to the future in fighter cockpit design, due to the unavailibilty of our regular cat, who is unfortunately at the Vets today, one will demonstrate using our stand in Monkey, that there is indeed enough room to swing a cat in the cockpit of this fine machine"..

Ok, late Thursday night and time to put this one to bed.

Honourable mention to NutLoose for sheer imagination for his gear down warning system.

In Third place: ExAscot for the topical "Ginger PVR'd"

Second place to Steve Cox for "Are you sure this is what the ground crew meant when they said it would cost a monkey to fix?"

And the winner is ... 622 for "Flt Lt Miggins thought he needed to clear things up after telling people he was off to spank his monkey."

Over to you buddy...

At last, unusually for her, not mashed off her tits, Amy Winehouse realised her best dream was about to come true.
