John was somewhat disappointed to discover that
"Collins is a huge fan"
was not a statement about what the new office junior thought about his new work slacks and pullover.

OK - it's slipped onto page 2 so time for the national juries to cast their votes. Here's Terry Wogan with the original photo:

And here's some extraneous foreign blond bint with the results in some tortured east european accent:

"Un point pour Shytorque avec "You Muppets! I told you the plans were still folded!"

Deux points pour Brickhistory avec "Dyson's Mk 1"

Trois points pour Dan Gerous avec "Lightning pilots! Hah, bunch of pussys"

Et finalment, le gagneur de La Eurovision Cap Contest:

Avec douze points, pohm1 avec le sublime "Following the dissolving of his partnership with Mr Pratt, Mr Whitney's first attempt at aircraft design was widely considered to be relying too heavily on his previous experiences."

Congratulations pohm1. Your prize is the privelege of bankrupting your national broadcaster by hosting the next Caption Contest. Bon chance!
