First declassified photographs of the Nimrod R1 ELINT fit showed the impact of recent budget cuts. It had not hitherto been revealed that operators were required to bring their own receivers.

Even with the addition of Boeing's new Dreamliner to their fleet, EasyJet still manages to turn the whole flying experience into a nightmare.

Eager spotters were a little disappointed to find that efforts to sanitise the Nimrod R.1 for static display had clearly gone somewhat further than gaffer-taped bin-bags over the odd bit of role equipment.
