BA had taken their eye off the ball, although the problems of baggage not being on the aircraft were solved, they had forgotten to board the passengers.

Eager spotters were a little disappointed to find that efforts to sanitise the Nimrod R.1 for static display had clearly gone somewhat further than gaffer-taped bin-bags over the odd bit of role equipment.
