Where was it that the USMC stormed a beach only for one of the natives to pick up a wrist watch and return it to the grunt that had dropped it?

(Apologies to the USMC if it was the US Army)

CNN and some other Newsie's greeted the Navy SEAL's upon their arrival one night in Somali as I recall.

The Marines came ashore at Red Beach in Da Nang, Vietnam to pretty local Girls wearing Ao Dai's and handing out flowers.

This exercise establishes that green camo is not ideal for beach situations.

All combat troops will therefore have to wear bikinis in future in order to blend in with the background (or foreground, as in this case.)

"Bloggs knew that Special Forces selection was difficult, but trying to do it while pumping your chest out, and sucking your gut in made it that little bit harder."

Over to you.
