This rare photograph shows a little-known and highly classified precursor of the VTOL 'Flying Bedstead', known only as '156'. It is seen trialling an early method of weight reduction in the hover, which was not successful.

Swiss Des finally realised that he managed to make the wheels come off everything he touched, not just at the part-time dayjob.

Q was right. These stealth axle extenders really are invisible.

Top marks to GPMG. Very topical and very funny.

Bloggs now realised that his mechanic's call of "NUTS" as he left the pits did not in fact warrant the two-finger salute he had given in return.

Switching from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive didn't have the expected effect.

Super Aguri's lack of pre-season testing meant they were ill-prepared for the F1 race circuit being bumpier than expected.

In retrospect, employing work-experience students for the pitstops may not have been the best way to keep costs down.
