Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

The little men inside must be practising low vis ops. They got the curtains up in all the windows.

ATC rushed around shifting Snow-flags, having realised the low ground clearance.

My contribution, benefiting from an excellent pun along with my personal modesty:
Mr Boeing: "With the greatest possible respect, General, the Air Force's requirement was for a 'C-17 model with reduced radar cross-section'. That's exactly what we've built."

The short list:

TIEW
Boeing solve the problem of how to deliver your 20005kg payload if you only have a 20000kg airlifter.

The little one? Oh, that's the one the UAS guys fly.

andytug
"Well sir, when we ran the new STOL requirements through the simulation this is what it came back with...."

Buster
Oh you think that's bad? You should see the export version of the F35!!!

And the winner of the CST this week, for topicality, is BUSTER

...and then, after screwing around with the Commercials, they sent some F-15's up & they couldn't see us either!

Regrettably the CST will not fit in the aircraft designated to deliver it, so you'll have to wait a day or two until a bigger one can be found.

Always a pleasure to have the CST at Buster Towers! Thank you C52.

I think this may have been done, or a similar one, but it made me chuckle. If it's a repeat, I'll make it a short round.

The defence contractor's lowest bid for the Bulldog replacement was accepted by the University Air Squadrons without proper due dilligence being carried out....
