Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Trials of the RFC's new "Telegraph Pole" pattern camouflage proved a roaring success when several staff officers completely failed to see the aircraft until LAC Bloggs showed them where it was.

OK, the jury has deliberated and chosen........lots of "line" puns, but.....these are the choices.

Wensleydale as runner up for "The first experiment in Fly By Wire?" and also an honorable mention for "What do we do now? Call a let?"

But the CST this time goes to Buster Hyman with:
"Admiral Halsey. You know how you had that idea about Naval air power but couldn't figure out how to land one on a ship?...."

Aww cheers Andy.

I've just started my shift so won't get a piccy up for some time sorry. If Wensley's able to pop one up, that'd be great otherwise I'll get a piccy up later tonight.

When I said Jews, Roman Catholics and other denominations fall out to the rear
I meant in an orderly fashion, not like that Bloggs, especially in front of HMQ.

Bloggs' planned "upskirt" using his highly polished boots required some quick readjustment if it was still to have a hope of working.

"They're all still standing up bar our Alfie."

Variation on the old one: "They are all out of step but our Alfie."

In 10 seconds that man is going to be pointing his gun at the queen. We'd better arrest him for treason.
