"And to think they told me that my underpants on my head with two pencils stuffed up the nostrils wasn't a sign of being mad, if this isn't, what is?"
Nutty's use of Common Core Maths proved as confusing to others as it did to him!
And of course you know one is Jones 741, and the other, Jones 849 and both are in the centre.

In their spare time, the chaps also used to do modelling for Gieves and Hawkes
I don't own this space under my name. I should have leased it while I still could
Right ho chaps, when you're all ready, we'll slip down to the Rhine, swim along the bottom and catch those inky pinky parlez vous're napping

Needs must....................
THIS IS NOT A CAPTION.
PN (#40873),
In "Im West nicht neues" ("All Quiet on the Western Front" to us), Remarque tells a WWI story of Gernan troops who were camped on one side of a French canal. On the other side was a village where the womenfolk were suffering the pangs of man-deprivation.
The arrangement was that the Germans stripped off to the buff, hung their boots round their necks, and swam across, where the eager "Mademoisellesfrom Armentières - inky-pinky parlez-vous" were waiting to warm them up.
Had to get back across and get dry before "Reveille" (or Wehrmacht equivalent thereof), I suppose.
Hitler had the book banned as pacifist propaganda.
Danny.

Following Danny's input ...
"OK, chaps, if we get this right we can swim a canal and shag the birds. Remember they're French so ... Respirator Check ... GO!"

During this Inspection of the Troops and their Billeting Spaces, Gentlemen, please remember to carry your Swagger Stick in case you see the need to touch one of them.
Righto gents. As judged by the massively inbred Lt. Wilburforce "Jumbo" Smythe-Carruthers (far right), the only one not wearing a gas-mask, the winner is:
jim's brother, with:
"Gentlemen, from the left, these are the five initial steps in donning a gas mask."
"Sir, may I ask, what are the subsequent steps?"
"Bloody long ones!"
Congrats, and the CST is all yours.

*ahem* Is that Wilberforce's 'Stage Right", Out of Camera Shot" or "Here's another small brown envelope to the Judge"?
And why 5 steps, when there are 6 shown???/
jim's brother, you are either far too good at this, or you have Royal connections.
CONFESS!!!

It's a great honour to win the CST - thank you.
No Royal connections, as far as I am aware, so it must be luck!
I'm on the M1 South at the moment, so if there's anyone who doesn't want to wait until about 2200Z, then by all means post a photo. Otherwise, mine will be online later.
