Following on from the success of his sculpture "The Spirit of Ecstasy", Charles Robinson Sykes' design for a mascot for the Dacia company did not receive the same acclaim.

Competitors of Mcdonnell's XF-85 Goblin attempt a "hook-on" during the trials, but aren't quite tall enough.
