Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Whilst recoil-less, the rate of fire was very slow, due the time required to change the weapon over from the carcass to the next mule.

It's bound to impress the Americans, Sah.

Look, it makes a lot of noise and seems to talk out of it own ass and it wears khaki. The American voters will just love it.

That'll bring 'em onside next time, Sah. Mebbe not on time, but in the right general direction next time, Sah.

Just haven't yet fitted a stop lever to the buggers, Sah. That still needs a bit of work, Sah.

Scotty borrows the port nacelle from the Enterprise, to increase his chances in the Donkey Derby. (And it will pass the drugs test).

The first "Night Cavalry Regiment" was now in operation - now if they could just reduce the size of the Maglites then they could have soldiers on their backs too!

The brochure stated that thrust vectoring had come a long way. "All you needed to do was point your Ass in the opposite direction of where you want to go" but this was misinterpreted by the Russians that stole the plans...

He looked underwhelming on the ground, but with a full load of grass and hay could drop a load that would make a Lancaster crew jealous.
