Results for this round:

Honourable mentions:

DirtyProp

"Join the Bomb Squad, they said....
You'll get the best gear, they said...."

Nutty

And you four have been selected as pull throughs for cleaning the 16 inchers... (a line about making 14 inch men fit 16 inch guns was formulating within when I read yours)

And the winner (cos I had a good snigger at the puttee reference) is

CoffmanStarter with

Right men ... The Army Backroom Boys have come up with a solution to 'gippy tummy' when we deploy to the Middle East ... The mattress attenuates the blast whilst the puttees are to stop your boots getting dirty

Well done gents, all quality entries.

Take it away Coff.

Many thanks Traffic ... you are clearly on the same wavelength

Here we go then ...

I reckon this is going to be fun

A bit of context ... the Sh1te Hawk is Zephyr and is the Army Air Corps Mascot ...

Usual high standards of innuendo, double entendre and comical reference to body parts etc ...
