That's right Captain, your new Co Pilot will listen to your stories for hours, admire your new watch, agree that they're working you too hard, and won't 'pull' the better looking crew before you do! And, you can even eat the peanuts meant for the real Co Pilots!

Why was the spacecraft called 'Fireball XL5' ...

Gerry Anderson ... "There was a motor oil being advertised at the time called Castrol XL. I thought it had a good ring to it, and I added the '5' to make it a little different ..."
