Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

A MoD spokesman strenuously denied that the contract to provide the Chinook force with a "Look down, Shoot down" capability had been awarded to the lowest tenderer.

Many honourable mentions, but...

3rd Coffman Starter with "Extreme Fishing with Robson Green"

2nd Danny with "It just followed me home, honest Mummy etc"

And the winner is

Fox3 with "We...found it. Honest! It was just sorta lying by the runway"

By the way, the runway was RAF Stanley - it landed short and hooked on to the end of the PSP matting rather than the cable and trashed the rear end of the fuselage.

Congrats Fox3 - you have the con!
