Fm: The Associate,Assistant, Deputy Undersecretary for USAF aircraft maintenance acquisition.

Bids are in for the outsourced alternate service delivery model for F 35 maintenance. The low bid winner represents a huge cost saving and I am assured has a state of the art facility with experience on advanced fighter aircraft. Its a home run !

After an exhaustive, objectively based and transparent process of decision making, the judges have conferred and awarded the following:

3rd - Kiltrash, with: 'In his autobiography Captain Eric 'winkle' Brown said that this landing of his 487th and final aircraft type was his most challenging'

2nd by a short half-spinner - Buster Hyman with: "No, I said I like Tony Curtis, not tow me Curtiss!"

But the winner, mainly because it pulls the p155 out of that fixed wing crowd in a very satisfying manner (and we all know it's true), is this:

Canadian Wokka Doctor: 'Proof that secretly, fighter pilots want to under-sling loads rather than poke holes in the sky.'

Take it away CWD!

Thank you very much Arm out the Window.

In celebration of my posting to the RCAF's newest Battlefield Helicopter Squadron, I offer this:

Of course, any likeness of currently serving RCAF Aircrew, or former RAF Aircrew for that matter, is purely accidental.

Judging will take place over the weekend of 29/30 June.

Yessir, it's a squadron tradition. If we say "down on one knee" and you get the wrong knee, you buy the next round.

Bloggsy here, has just realised he's buying!

That's right Minister, it is advisable to stay low around choppers but, considering how high the blades are....and the fact that we're in the hangar with the engines off...it's really not that necessary at the moment.
