Britains got no talent auditions hit the RAF.
Coningsby was the largest AD base in 1988, and still had a plug-board commcen. It was marvellous for users as you could talk to a real person with a brain and local knowledge , but a nightmare to operate and maintain for the commcen and engineering staff
