Flight Safety Poster Archive Found!

I was searching for a certain Flight Safety poster and eventually found this gold mine -

[ARCHIVED CONTENT] Defence Aviation Safety Centre - Publicity

This contains all the old classic flight safety posters we remember from many years ago.

Thought it may be useful to some of us.

Only the boring, politically correct LGBT / EO-approved ones, it seems....

Mrs Fiona Walker (nee Butler) is unlikely to be flattered by your comments.

Trust BEagle to have ... how shall we say ... "Gentlemen's reading material"

Remember the "Get em down" poster ... especially a couple suitably amended with words deleted/inked over from the word "with"

Re: Tennis 'Girl'

I met the tennis 'girl' photographer Martin Elliott in the mid 90s at a wedding in a stately home in the West Midlands. After a few beers he heavily hinted to me that all was not at is seems in the photo - when I asked "why is it a bloke?" he just winked and grinned.

Sadly I learned that Martin died of cancer a few years later in the late 90s and I didn't get to press him for more info at the christening

I guess he will take that little mystery with him...

F700

Poster - long limbed lady in "fully fashioned" stockings

If you have a snag

Put it in the F700

Possibly the most universally ammended crewroom poster?

Leon ... ... if true ...

The Tennis Girl is a popular poster. It shows a young woman from behind walking towards the net of a tennis court with a tennis racquet in her right hand and her left hand reaching behind lifting her short tennis dress, showing she is not wearing any underwear.

The photograph was taken by Martin Elliott in September 1976 and features 18-year-old Fiona Butler (now Walker), his girlfriend at the time. The photo was taken at Birmingham University, Edgbaston, Birmingham, England, using a borrowed dress, racquet and balls.
I'll stick with the above ...

Fiona Walker, 52, poses with a picture of herself as the 18-year-old Athena tennis poster girl at Christies auction house in London ahead of the 'Court on Canvas' exhibition

Brilliant stuff, although like others I failed to find some "interesting" ones of happy memory. Years ago I worked in an armoured headquarters where the Air Cell had a couple of those morale boosters displayed in their panzer.

One featuring a lady angler comes to mind.
