Situation in Iran
 

I've been given the 'chance' to go back on business (albeit for a week or so) to somewhere I spent several happy years in the 70s - Iran (though I did leave without my toothbrush).

I've obviously checked the FCO web site and so on but I'd welcome any inside gen on the 'real' situation, the ease of travel, the likely local reception in the more rural area etc
