Just wondering if anyone has any idea about the aviation industry in Libya now that sanctions were supposedly lifted.

Is Libyan Airlines back to service. What' their website if they have one.

Any info is appreciated

I would be careful about going there if I were you. They are very well known for not paying salaries for months (even years in some cases).

If you want to speak to someone in TIP then I suggest you phone. I would not trust their postal service and I would not count on getting an e-mail back from Capt Hanash!!! :rolleyes:

falcon - Ever been to Libya??!!! Been there on a charter ones.....not exactly my kind of place....A guy from ops down there introduced me to some pilots from Libyan and theydidn't exactly paint up a nice picture about the situation down there...Was told that they earn $500 a month.........:eek: :eek: :confused:

Spent considerable time in Lybia on charters. Don't waste your time as, I guarantee, you will be disappointed.
