Pointless "which airline should I join" threads.

Recently I have noticed a few discussions centred on which airline is better QR/EK/Etihad/FZ etc. Then asking all sorts of questions about rosters and cost of living.

I have an idea, why don't you apply to all of them and once you have a job offer in your hand then you can come on here and ask a billion questions. Also, 99% of these questions you could ask at the interview if you get one.

Here here! What do Emirates and Qatar pilots have in common?

Have to disagree on that one.

Interviews for the above mentioned Operators are anything but a walk in the park; It takes time and effort to (hopefully) achieve the required level and be successful, hence it is quite normal that potential candidates do their homework first and think it through before spending time and resources -often taken away from recreational and family matters- to prepare for an airline that will potentially not fit their needs.
The "just apply everywhere then decide" is the best recipe to fail all of them.
