Emirates A380 operations
 

Hello all,

I am interested in knowing the operations and culture of the A380 fleet. In particular on LH and ULH trips -- the crew compliment, rest pattern, PF allocation, etc.

On the culture side, I realise it is a 6-monthly contract extension or your last landing. What I'd like to know is how are the most line captains to fly with? The dynamic with 2 x Captains and 2 x FOs.
Is everyone on the edge when flying with a trainer on a non-training flight?

Also, the process of fuel decision -- do captains have authority over this or is it company mandated?

I've asked a lot of questions, but I'd appreciate any insights on the above. The information will be invaluable in making a decision. Thank you.

Have you already applied and been in Dubai for the assessment?

Not yet. Trying to gather information to make a decision IF I should apply or not.
No point in wasting anyone's time if it doesn't suit me straight off the bat.
