A321 simulator recurrent sessions.

Can anyone tell me what is the best way to prepare for a simulator recurrent?

I am facing a problem when it comes to procedural adherence. I do work towards cramming up the procedures, but on the MFTD, I simply zone out and forget what to do. Its alarming for my employer and they are a bit reluctant into sending me in the full motion until I fix this issue.

Is there a "best way" to prepare for the simulator recurrent? :ugh:
