Flight Planning/ OPS

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone could give me some information.
How do you use for flight planning, which company, do you source it out? In that case what do you get charged for a flight plan + filing? permits?
Or are you doing all ops work by yourself?

This information would be very helpful for me

If you were flying the Bombardier Global XRS, then this answer should be fairly obvious. Most corporate operations have either an in-house flight operations department which uses commercially available software, or they contract out the service to one of the bigger players such as Jeppesen or Universal.

It is a lot cheaper and you learn a lot more if you do the work yourself, but if you need everything arranged for you and money is not an object, then both of these organizations can provide you worldwide coverage. Pricing is very much dependent on your type of operation and the services you request.

I've used both. I'm not affiliated with either. Both well recommended.
