Wow - that is great news about the movement. It is also a pleasant surprise that the Boeing fleet is getting some newhires after the Airbus-centered last 6 months or so. :ok: I take it the 777 training backlog has been reduced and now newbies are being allocated again.

Is that trend (Boeing slots) likely to continue? What will be the likely mix of Boeing/Airbus into the near future? Any guesses?

As far as HR reading this forum, they even asked me in the interview if I have ever been on here before.

Any idea how many guys got the call and how many remain in the pool?

I am not sure what the future holds for Airbus or Boeing, but I do know of two guys that just started A380 transition so that might mean they ramp up the Airbus again soon. We did get that email stating they would not need any Airbus slots for the rest of the financial year which I believe is March but anything could change at anytime.

Congrats to those getting the calls, seems to be picking up nicely now. Also seems like they're calling most of the Feb/Mar people; even the non Boeing guys. Keeps the dream alive. Any Feb or Mar interviewees that did not get the call?? Are we April guys really next?!

They called me yesterday in order to offer me to start the course in February.
I attended the assessment at the beginning of April, boeing 737NG rated.

Strange we did not receive the update at the end of October. They've always been more or less on time for these matters.
