Alpha Star Aviation
I have started a thread on this subject on T of E and Biz Jets with no response.
Does anybody know anything about this mob? Vacancies for A340, 320& BBJ VVIP drivers, based RUH 2 on / 1 off. Cheers Stig. |
Considering their owners, I'm expecting this company to do well, quite possible at the expense of NASJets........ but apart from that, i dont know their terms or conditions, and yes they do have the aircraft.

Thanks Mutt!
perhaps we'll get some input from somebody close to the company? Stig |
Other than the posted adds on the websites. they are looking for helicopter pilots and mechanics (S-92,S-70i) in specific. they held interviews in Dubai last week.

Anyone know the conditions?
Pay Offdays Extras Etc..... Regards, |

I was interviewed by Alpha Star on the 20 April. Non a word since then. Does anyone else have the same experience ? Did anyone get the contact details of the ex-Lufthansa guy ? PM would be most welcome, thanks and all the best.

I have gotten a job at alpha star and their salary is SAR4500. How is that offer good or bad according to the riyadh living standards?
|
4500 SAR? As a pilot? What, per flight day?
|
Minimum SAR 20000 for any type of flying. Plus accommodation, Transportation, Medical, etc.

Walk far far away............... Mutt |
But why, Mutt?
I`m asking because I used to work for them (ACMI, AT45) and I really thinking about (AT46 and, possibly, upgade to jet). In my opinion they doing well... As about living conditions - compound shall be provided with no doubt, it is too hard to live in KSA outside one... |
In my opinion they doing well... Would you work for that sort of money as an expat? Mutt |
Mutt,
got it. About accommodation - fully agree (it is stated in second part of my previous message))) Just thinking about employement and for me they seems to be good choise. But maybe I don`t know something... |
ATR FO
El Sol, any chance for an ATR FO of getting an interview?
|
Igel,
So the company is doing well....? They do have Airbus a319, 320 n 340. I am definately interested in getting the ratings for those planes. Mutt, maybe thats why the salary issue is slightly being ignored!! With sar7000 for starters until after 3 months probation then they up the salary, is that a bad deal? |

Alpha Star.
Good morning All,
Please, is any of you working for Star Alpha Aviation based in Riyadh> It seems like there is a problem with communication in this company I had an interview few months ago, Heard nothing since and then suddently email to send copy of passport and previous employee. And again nothing since. Anybody can help here?? Please? |
How much do Alpha Star Aviation Services employees make?Alpha Star Aviation Services employees earn an average of $98,358, ranging from $72,309 at the 25th percentile to $117,524 at the 75th percentile, with top earners (the top 10%) earning more than $146,235. Compensation is derived from fewer than 20 profiles, including base salary, equity and bonus. For your reference..... |
I have been working at Riyadh for 4 years....the cost living is not too expensive. Quite normal.
Anyway, for the SAR 4500/ month is too small, but if you as a Mechanic with no licenses and less than 5 years experiences, it will be better. As an Engineer, SAR 18k-20k is a normal price with Compound and Transport provided. |
