PPRuNe Forums - Tokyo or Dubai?

Hi guys
I have an interview coming up with both AVJ and Emirates next month and need to start making up my mind in case I'm lucky enough to get offered both positions .
I'm married with two kids and was thinking that at least in Emirates I can take my family with me, but in Tokyo that would be too expensive. I'm outside a commutable area so I would have to move to Japan.
Keep in mind that I rather make a little less money but spend more time with the family.
I guess this has been asked before but anyway since things change with time ( dollar depreciation, etc), I would appreciate your opinions.
