Applying to Emirates with Turboprop Time

I know the website is asking for larger jet transport time, but given the number of aircraft being delivered, is Emirates taking pilots with only turboprop time? (Over 5,000 hrs TT, but lots of helo and BE 200 time). Any advice to working in the region would be appreciated.

Right now the answer is no.

If it does go to that level in the future, you will be behind
Dash-8, ATR, Herc, and Convair pilots.

If this is something you are serious about, you need to
transition onto something bigger and do it as soon as possible.

Right now, CRJ experience seems to be the smallest that is being
accepted.

Shouldn't be a problem.
They will be taking the EK audi car drivers soon.
No disrespect meant to them.:}
This is not funny since people are really interested to move over there. And it is quite disturbing to watch so many people complaining while they are already there !
(don't start again the topic about living in the UAE, it's over ten years I have my familly estabslished in Dubai. I know what i want)

Well good for you, but it's up to other people here to say just how they feel. So go dance on your villa roof and tell the wold just how great you think Dubai is but others want to know the truth. :(

Don't know where your from but I would say not Europe. :bored:

Heard they've taken a few GIV and Challenger drivers. Don't know any details, just 2nd hand info from a recruiting guy I flew with recently.

SkyWaytoHeaven, or anyone else that knows about it.
I would like to know:
Talking about GulAir, how well is the airline doing nowadays? Could it be worth it to work for them? Is the airline getting back on its feet?

Many thanks,

AA
