Emirates Technical Services Engineer Position
 

Hey guys,
I have gave this forum a good search but cannot come up with any info regarding Emirates Engineering positions.
I have been invited over to DXB in two weeks for a psychometric test and an interview for a desk jockey job (Technical Services Engineer - Structures). I am looking for info regarding pay scales, benefits and general working conditions in the engineering department of EK. Also if anyone has any info regarding the psychometric test or any other related info that would be excellent.

Hi Andy
If they are offering you a TE3 (Technical Grade 3) position then basic monthly salary should be around 14000 dhs + accomodation or allowance of just under 10000 + some other allowances ie. transport + medical insurance and school fees for up to 3 kids. You pay 10% contribution to the latter two. Plus yearly Profit Share (So far!) Psychometric test is nothing to be worried about. Just answer honestly and with consistency.
I deal with the ETSS guys every day and I know that they have a big work load to deal with and could do with more good guys, especially if you have a good knowledge of composite repairs!
Maybe you should move this thread to Engineers thread. Wouldn't want to upset Nigel and his mates ;) (Only joking!).
