Corporate aviation

Hi all, I'm interested in trying to get into coporate aviation over in that part of the world. I have an Australian ATPL, 3200TT 1800 Multi of which is 1200 Co-pilot Turbo prop... no jet time. I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction to get some jet experience. Happy to pay own TR and do whatever is required.

Positive thoughts only please......

self funded T/R always get you flamed

BUT it is a decision that one sometimes has to make.

A change from one type to another drasticly different type, is often never accepted by owners or management companies.

Go for a T/R that is popular in your neck of the wood.

Perhaps the only down side is that so many of these "idiots" say you need hours on type before they will employ you, or no one employes a pilot with zero on type.

Bollows: if they buy a new type, they all have ZERO hours on type, so how come it is safe for them and not for you. Both situation use experienced pilots to share the knowledge with the new boy.
