What does Etihad HR want ??
 

Hello all at Etihad !!

A friend of mine applied to Etihad a month ago for a F/O B777 position. He was contacted(phoned)by Etihad HR soon afterwards, but only to be told by them that they only take type rated pilots.

He(my friend)said that this was not the way he read the ad on Etihad's website.I went and checked it myself ....... I also don't read it as"type rated pilots only''.:rolleyes:( They do however say that preferance will be given to type rated pilots......which I think make sense,they say the same about the Airbus vacancies avail)

Is it true that they want type rated pilots for the B777 position only or have guys(girls) been offered positions on the B777 fleet without being type rated.

Type rated only for the B777 F/O positions. Different for Airbus where non-rated are considered.
