Qatar A340-300 Lease
 

There seems to be an A340-300 operating for Qatar Airways starting from the fall/winter timetable . The routes are to JED only. Where is it getting this aircraft from? And will be reconfigured to QR specifications? What routes will it be deployed from? Thanks.. :D:)

Heard that its going to be the Amiri aircraft that's only going to be doing JED and only the QR100 DXB flight.

IIRc, the Amiri aircraft (HHK) is a 342 and not 343. The other Amiri big bus is a 345.


This would seem a strange move, to introduce a 343 into this particular fleet and to operate one sector only.

Heard it is coming from Singapore and it is for the Amiri fleet but the line up at the reconfigure hanger for executive interior is back logged a bit and whilst it is waiting to go and be configured for the Amiri fleet it will fill in at Qatar Airways.

Indeed the aircraft has started operation. The aircraft is painted in neutral colors (no QR logo). It is currently doing DOH-BKK-DOH. Few weeks from now, I heard that it's going to do DOH-MUC-DOH

Talking about the A340 fleet, can any one give some information on the roster/monthly flying hours and fleet management. is it worth and safe to move to this fleet ?.
