Qatar QR questions

Hi everybody,

I've got some questions for those working for Qatar Airways.

Is it allowed for family members (spouse, kids) to come along with a staff travel ticket on a nightstop?

Do you have nice nightstops on the A320?
Are you a lot away from Doha if flying the A320?
How many hours per month do you fly usually?
After how many years of A320 are you updraded to A330 (or to captain?)

Thanks

FO on A320 you will fly from 45 to 55 hours/month on average. Of course these change depending on how many FOs are on the fleet and might change from one season to the other but for pay reasons plan you life on 50hrs

Of course you can take your spouse or whoever with you on layovers as long as their are seats available, im sure you know the staff tickets are standby basis

On average you will get one or two layovers a month. Mainly india and srilanka and katmandu. But every now and then u might get a zurich or vienna depending on the "RANDOM COMPUTER GENERATED ROSTER!"

On average you can expect to be txfrd to 330 anywhere from 15-24months. Capt req is 5000hrs and 3 years company service.

Good luck :)

SEZ is a layover destination!

Also expect nightstops for a few hours in certain destinations.
