What's it really like in the UAE and at EK?

Hi all,

looking at having a go at EK and would appreciate real info regarding living in UAE and working Emirates.

We all seem to enjoy "having a go" at EK.
Except when it's bonus time!
To briefly answer your question it is my humble opinion that EK is OK but the UAE has been steadily getting worse in the 8 years I've lived here.
If it was me I think I'd look at Etihad or Qatar if you want a short time to command.
