QR - Holding pool - Non Type Rated Captain

I´ve just received "that" email.What to expect?

I have received the same one on February, 28th.
Until now no news about it.:(
Rumor is that QR had a change on its Operations Directorate and they're still studying what they are going to do with those Non-Typed DECs that have already done the interview before calling any new one.

I've also been waiting for a couple of months and nothing yet . I have been told not to expect an interview before end of june :{
I guess we need some more patience !

Same here ! I heard the program for may and june is full, so probably nothing before july guys !:sad:

The add in QR website for Captains has been removed ! What does this mean ? big slow down in dec recruitment ??

last thing I heard is that there is no a stop on hiring non type rated DEC.


Preference is given to internal upgrades or DEC with type rating.

Makes sense to me...

I don´t think so. But i agree that´s good for senior F/O´s in QR and make sense as well. It makes sense for you in inside the company as employee ,but maybe not for the management QR team
