Israeli ATPL/ALTP Validity

Can anyone tell me what the validity is on an Israeli ATPL/ALTP?

Dunno really...but I'm pretty sure it's very well appreciated here in the ME:E

No_Speed_Restriction 19th March 2006 13:46

I don't know how and were you got the licence but,if you have an Israeli visa stamped on your passport,you are not even allowed to enter the Country...:{

i thought this was a middle east forum(which includes Israel) which is why I asked the question incase there were other Israeli ALTP holders.

As a license holder just have a look about validity from yours. Usually ATPL is 6 months or 12 if you are young enough. Should be printed there....and as its ICAO it should be the same as everywhere else.

No_Speed_Restriction 19th March 2006 15:22

does that mean that if one doesnt renew it by way of a simulator check that one would have to retake all the ATPL exams all over again?

NSR ---do you actually have an Israeli license,or any other for that matter, your questions seem to be ,how can put this kindly, nope I cant, stupid.

It also might be an idea to keep up with world politics, as most ME countries would quite happily see Israel wiped from the map, to quote one local Prime Minister.

if i didnt have an ALTP what purpose would i have asking that question.

Why is this turning into a quasi political debate?
The gentleman asked a question regarding his Israeli issued ATPL.

No speed restriction:
I am not familiar with the Israeli ATPL, but since it's an ICAO licence I can only assume that the ATPL is valid as long as your medical and instrument rating are kept current.

I found the following website which may be of some use

thank you very much for your help.

end of topic.

As far as I know, Israel is not recognized by the Arabs, so in fact it doesn't exist for them... I would reckon that a document (your licence) issued by a non existing entity would be worthless.
Just my 2p..
