QR Command
 

How long does it take to take command with QR for F/os joining with 4000 hrs +. If possible I would like to have a genuine reply without any spin.

I would do a search if I was going to ask this question before you dont want to get a spin on the answer. UPGRADE IMPROVEMENT AT QR is the post you r looking 4.

The basic requirement is 3 years service in the company and 5000 hours total time (4500 hours if your Qatari)

They have the training capacity to upgrade about 12 F/O's per year. There are about 250 F/O's in the airline. There is also a Qatarisation policy that is seeing about 12 Qatari F/0's being introduced into the airline each year, there are quite a few of these guys nearing the command hour and time in company requirement and they will ALL have priority when it comes to upgrade.

Also direct entry Captain hiring is proceeding at a great pace. Flight ops "management" are not very upgrade minded, they prefer DEC's.
