Kite surf in bahrain
 
I am going there for an assessment next month.
does anybody know if there is some nice spot for kite surfing near bahrain 'cause I'd like to come with my sail...????

Mate. used to do a lot of kiting there. think most sites are being built on now. You need a 14 or bigger. It gets windy in the arvo. but not that much. If you get hired by GF then you really need a boat now to get to the off shore islands.

Problem is..when u want to go kite surfing the wind goes flat...so u drive to the yacht club load up the boat then battle the 3-5 footers on the way to Jarada, because.... u guessed it!! suddenly 15kts of wind have appeared!!!:{

Kite surfing down at Durrat last Summer. Altho' this might not be available due to construction works.

Head for Riffa Golf Club, go past, hang a right at the scrapyard and head south. Try not to go into Shaikh Isa.
