Iraqi may fly from today
 

The airline plan to launch twice weekly services to Amman and Damascus from Baghdad, Dubai is also to be added.

Any idea on what the fleet will consist of? Older aircraft or new?

Right now its just one 737-200.

but i do have two cousins that used to fly for Iraqi Airways

the Cairo local english rag, yesterday reported the arrival of an Iraqi aircraft. Like an idiot, I did not take much notice until now...sorry guys.....Bumz

Have seen and heard the green and white 737 running into BIAP a couple of times now :)

Iraqi Airways B737 landed in Cairo for refuelling on its way to Algiers... they had an Iraqi sports delegation in there for the Arab Games being held in Algeria

I saw the Iraqi 737-200 a couple of times in Amman now...

Without a doubt this must be one of the best looking -200s in service today. It looks great!
