Gf And Qr Suspends Ktm Services
 

Middle Eastern ("Arab") Companies have become targets in Nepal following the killing of 15 Nepalese workers in Iraq.

"Retaliation" against Arab perceived "culprits" included the petrol bombing of the QR office in Kathmandu. QR has since suspended its twice daily services into KTM, and GF has now done the same.

It is not expected that either carrier will re-commence services until at least mid September.

What a stupid remark!

GF suspended services only for a day or two and are currently back operating their daily service in KTM. As for QR they have still not recommenced their DOH-KTM (onwards to KUL) service.

only at the moment for the crews it is a turnaround back to AUH
no doubt until the situation is further assessed
