just wondered if anyone knows anything about this.

i recieved an email with these details.

We have recently received a new job vacancy posting on Flightdeck Recruitment which may be of interest to you.

Position: BAe 146 Captain and First Officer
Min Type Hours: Capt: 2000 FO: 300
Min Total Hours: Capt: 5000 FO: 1500
Location: Kuwait
Description/requirements: Qualified BAe 146/RJ Captains and First Officers required for new airline. Applicants should have at least 1,500 hours experience of which 300 hours should be on type.

The commencement date is to be confirmed, but it is targeted for the beginning of September 2004. Those selected will be based in Kuwait or any other such place as reasonably required. The initial length of contract will be 12 months.

The new joint venture airline will offer executive charter services throughout the Gulf region using 30 seat luxury fit Avro RJ70 aircraft.

Payment will be made monthly in Kuwait and EU Nationals will be subject to EU Inland Revenue regulations. Non-EU Nationals will be subject to their relevant Government revenue regulations. No Income Tax will be deducted and no Income Tax is levied in Kuwait.

Accommodation in Kuwait will be provided on a fully inclusive basis consisting of individual room with bath/shower, all laundry, the services of a housekeeper and meals as required.

Private Medical Insurance, loss of licence insurance and death in service cover will be provided.

A car will be provided in Kuwait for the general use of staff.

35 days leave per year including allowance for public holidays.

Air travel between Kuwait and the employees home at the start of the contract and at the completion of the contract will be paid for.

Applicants will need to be flexible in their working arrangements but at all times will be expected to work within JAA standards.

No frills carriers are just about sweeping this area. Q8 has been wanting to start it`s own. A company named Al Jesera ( spelling may be not correct) has already been registered. However Al Jesera was suppose to fly A320s.

The proposed 146-RJ operation has been abandoned.Future plans are to use the A320 aircraft from Lotus Air of Egypt .There is apparently a common ownership.

Yeh That's what I heard also this week by e-mail.
BAM no longer involved.

One of the partners Egyptian A320\319 a/c going to do it?

Jazeera a better bet.
