Star Air Slow to Pay
 

Star Air out of Amman Jordan, now Sharja, is becomming very slow on payroll and is running up a backlog on unpaid pilots. They are using every excuse not to pay money owed to crew. BEWARE!!!!!

Seems like you know somebody working for Star air. The last i heard was that they pay very well. I wonder what happened now

Also have you heard any thing about Star air getting 747s? i heard a rumor last year.

Saw 2 StarAir birds idle at SHJ; word is that they have been kicked out of AMM, along with the rest of the 9L registered flock of L10s like Air Universal, Star Gate and Rum Air. (Sierra Leon AOCs....inexpensive "certificates of convenience") :{

Air Universal is very soon switching on to the Jordanian AOC. They already have their 747 on the Jordanian register as JY-AUA, as seen here <http://www.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/open.file/529417/L/>

John never paid for haj,nor was anyone else, except for a couple Orient Thai loaner pilots. And yes, thrown out of both Amman and Damascus. Pilots living in a Pit there in Sharja.
