I think it is time you got some support

The constant snivelling of your staff, who, if they hate you so much, clearly only work for you because they couldn't get a job anywhere else, is depressing to outsiders and puts off those that would have a wonderfully fulfiiling time with QR.

You have actually done a fantastic job commercially and it is time that this received due recognition.

Without you, QR would be one of life's little footnotes lost in the mists of (recent) time.

Keep the good work.

should be Yo Ho Ho Akbar...if you are a good little pinhead this Xmas you will receive an honourable discharge for the "excellent commercial work" you have done in making the airline a success...well in some respects...

however, if you carry on, you will receive no new aircraft because you will have been disposed of for your continuous personal vendettas against your hardworking crew and their personal lives.

some people ARE scared of you but it is time for them to stand up and fight for their rights to PAAAAAAARRRRTY!!

there are labour laws in Qatar, but, why is it, not one of your staff can take their grievances there? oh, believe me i tried, but was told i would then be out the country within 24 hours if you knew... instead of the 14 days you so graciously allowed me to stay...

68 sackings since may? if that is true well, who is in the right here? the contract states that there are "grievance procedures"...i laugh out loud...

the spineless Cabin Crew managerial types who offer no support because yep, they are scared of you too! what a way to run an airline...

the brown noses will survive a little while longer as will others of the ilk you so strongly rely on...

great potential, great service, great crew....have you ever said THANK YOU in your life...

Good to see someone giving him support.
But do you know tha QR only operates 3 destinations that are profitable.
Did you know that QR has never made a profit in any financial quarter since the introduction of Airbus.
Exact figures are not available but what are you praising him for.
The truth is it is being run in an artificial economy where they are trying to stimulate the economy by opening it up to the world.
The stimulus is QR. There is nothing wrong with this obviously, but you put any one in his position with a budget of his and it really cant be that hard.
You cant judge him on what the airline has become as no airline in the world could survive like QR. Other airlines have balance sheets and need to report to shareholders. Here is different.
And everyone knows he would not last 10 minutes in the real world.

Well having worked for 1 year only on Qatar Amiri flight (luckily better things came my way) I have to agree! he is the worst CEO I have ever in my entire life worked for! He scares the hell out of his Cabin crew treats them like crap and his pilots are pretty damm scared of him too! Why??? Hes only 5ft nothing anyway and hes just another human being with a title! he has no class and morals and he just sits in his big office staring out of his window, thinking about who he will fire next!! (ive been there and seen it) the only person I have ever seen him brown nose is of course HIS BOSS!! Mr HBJ Al Thani himself! The foriegn minister. ( who himself is a lovely chap in fact the entire royal family are all very nice people to work for and if they like you they will step in and protect you, they personally do not like changing faces on their private AC. Dont blame them really when you have that amount of wealth. Mr Akbar was pulled up about the sacking of a few crew on the royal fleet and I think that now people are generally quite happy, the contacts have been changed and are better for the girls at least. They work damm hard and deserved alot more than Akbar was prepared to give them. He told the girls they were only worth 5000QR per month!! Thats scandelous seeing as you are on call 24/7, the boss disputed this and things changed a little.
Mr Akbar has done a fantastic job I have to say with Qatar Airways however the entire fleet is on borrowed money! and why on earth they have/thinking about selling the 340 is beyond me! its probably the best private AC in the world! totally amazing and I am lucky to have had the opportunity to work on it. However Akbar you have done a good job so far so get out whilst your still ahead!! Air Atlanta are looking for a head of cabin services!!! Whoops your need a visa!!:p Hope I havent offended any loyal QR employees!!!
